A Post Warranty HP Care Pack Service should be purchased and activated no earlier than 90 days before or 30 days after the existing support entitlement expires.

If purchased and activated before the initial support entitlement has expired, the period of cover provided by the Post Warranty HP Care Pack Service will automatically commence on the day of expiry of the initial service, ensuring continuity of cover. If purchased and activated after the initial support entitlement has expired, the period of cover provided by the Post Warranty HP Care Pack Service will commence on the day of activation.

It is not possible to purchase several Post Warranty HP Care Pack Services for one item of hardware with a view to providing sequential cover. To ensure continued support, it is necessary to buy Post Warranty HP Care Pack Services within the time periods identified above on an ongoing basis. 'Care Pack Sales' will remind customers that their current Post Warranty HP Care Pack Service coverage period is coming to an end and that it is necessary to purchase a new one.
