When did you join Support Warehouse?
“Six and a half years ago, after spending 12 years in retail sales, I decided it was time for a new challenge and a fresh direction. I was ready to step outside my comfort zone and pursue a career with more long-term growth opportunities—so I joined Support Warehouse.”
You’ve certainly built up an impressive amount of experience—what inspired you to grow your career with Support Warehouse?
“I saw the opportunity come up, and the industry had always interested me, even though I didn’t have a strong knowledge of IT services. I instantly got a good impression of the culture and knew it was the kind of environment where I could fill my knowledge gaps and grow professionally.”
How has your journey with us been so far?
“The main thing I’ve found at Support Warehouse is that I can go to anyone in the company and communicate openly. I’ve been able to drive my own development by being honest with senior leaders, and there’s never been any fear around speaking up or making my career goals clear. Our Managing Director has invested time in mentoring me, and I’ve also been given great tools from external providers. Thanks to all of this, I’ve seen rapid progression!”
Congratulations on your recent promotion! Can you tell me a little more about your career journey with us so far?
“Thank you! From the start, I worked hard, and after a year and a half as a Sales Account Manager, I became a Sales Team Leader. I asked the Managing Director to be my mentor, and I’ve been empowered by his feedback and insights from other team members.
I continued to put in the work as a Team Leader, and recently, I was promoted to Sales Manager for Tesedi Global!”
Quite the journey… How do you feel the company has supported this growth?
“I’ve been empowered by the training and open conversations I’ve had with senior leaders. My roles have required personal drive and an open mind, but I’ve always had a supportive team to collaborate with and help solve challenges.
That openness has been key to my growth—whenever I’ve needed something to reach the next stage, I’ve been able to talk it through and get the direction I needed.”
What makes our culture unique?
“I think the fact that we have people in our organization who’ve been here since the very beginning speaks volumes. Their experience, built over the years, is shared with new team members to help them understand our purpose and goals. What also sets us apart is that everyone in the company is part of the journey. We work cross-functionally, united by a shared understanding of ‘the why.’ Together, we’re always striving to improve—both individually and as a team.”
You mentioned new starters there, so on that note, do you have any advice for someone who may be considering starting their career in sales?
“Listen to people and observe your surroundings. Pay attention to what works for others and try mirroring those strategies. Don’t be afraid to experiment until you find what works for you. Whoever you’re working with, take one thing from them that works and make it your own. If you admire someone, ask for half an hour of their time—see what they do differently, keep an open mind, and learn something from everyone you work with.”
And one last question… what’s something someone should know if they’re considering a career with Support Warehouse?
"We have a great culture built by our amazing people! If you want it, you can achieve it with Support Warehouse".
